Home tanks update

The home tanks are doing well. The first Mars experiment is doing quite well with several large adults swimming about. The first Magic Castle tank is down to 2 adults, a male and a female. The Ocean Zoo tank is hanging in there with two adults, a male and a female. The newest experiments are as follows: The Magic Castle in the original style tank really took off! It is teaming with freshly hatched newborns! The original style Mars tank has newborns in it but not as spectacularly as the magic castle.

I have a hypothesis on why this is: It is due to the salt concentration in the water. the old style castle tank hold much less than 300CCs of water, it was an early design flaw which was fixed with the newer design. The original style Mars tanks fixed the design flaw and hold 300CCs of water and have a fill mark indicator which means you get more water and less salt concentration as a result. This is why if your tank doesn't seem to work right just let some of the water evaporate, this will increase the concentration of salt making more eggs hatch!

Check out the video updates below along with a photo of all my home experiments.
