Twinkie Me, Bitch! : Breaking Bad Hostess Ad

AMC recently had a marathon of the critically acclaimed TV show Breaking Bad starring Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. I binge watched the whole thing as I never watched it when it first aired. While looking for more information about this series on the interwebs, I ran across this delightful gem!

Artist Brendan Tobin has created “Twinkie Me, Bitch!,” a Breaking Bad spoof of the classic comic book ads that Hostess ran for Twinkies in the 1970s and 1980s.

From acclaimed writer, producer, director Vince Gilligan, "Breaking Bad", which first premiered on AMC in January 2008, follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

The series garnered ten Emmy(R) Award wins - including the 2013 and 2014 Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Drama Series - two Peabodys, and been named to the American Film Institute's (AFI) list of the "Top 10 Programs of the Year" (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013). "Breaking Bad" starred three-time Emmy(R) Award-winner Bryan Cranston; two-time Emmy(R) winner Aaron Paul; Emmy(R) Award-winner Anna Gunn; Dean Norris; Betsy Brandt; RJ Mitte, Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks.
