Back in the mid-1990s, hot on the heels of "Hercules The Legendary Journeys," and "Xena, Warrior Princess," came "Tarzan, The Epic Adventures." While set against the mythology of Edgar Rice Burroughs' books, the show actually had more in common with the standard elements of the TV fantasy of the time with evil sorcerers, journeys to magical realms, and endless supplies of wise-beings all ready at the drop of a hat to disperse with much needed advice for our angsty soul-searching hero. After one season of 22 episodes, the series was effectively lost for many years until showing up on Hulu a few years ago.
