Its the Super Powers Collection Hall of Justice playset! Although early concept artwork originally envisioned the Hall of Justice as merely a figure storage case, by the time it reached production it had been expanded into a full fledged playset. However, some storage case elements did carry over. The "teleportation" and "revitalization" chambers give the playset added value, allowing it to become a storage case for up to 10 Super Powers figures.
The exterior of the front section of the playset is the Hall of Justice's iconic front facade. Although molded in yellow plastic, it still looks pretty much exactly as it did in the Super Friends cartoons.
The interior is divided into 3 sections -- a front section containing a jail with a trap door entrance, a center section with an elevator allowing rooftop access to the landing pad, and the third section containing a fold-out computer console along with special chambers which may also be used as figure storage. Each section can be played with separately or snapped together creating one large play environment.
The playset also has a really cool feature which allows for a practical use of the file cards which were included with the figures. Looking at the image above, the wall behind the Red Tornado has a clip used to hold a file card, displaying the hero with monitor duty!
The set displays remarkably well and may be jazzed up by adding other pieces such as a papercraft TroubAlert, a Pocket Heroes Justice League table, or a Funko DC Legion of Collectors Wonder Woman Invisible Jet. While the table and the jet are very much out of scale for Super Powers figures, they still work well for display purposes.

Dang! That's too cool, man!Love the addition of the invisible jet ,perfect ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd made a full-size Super Powers invisible jet! It was proposed but never made it to prototype.
DeleteAwesome set up. Lots of play and display value.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool as is the use of the pocket super heroes jla table.
ReplyDeleteI have been raving to my parents lately what a wonderful Christmas present this was in 1984. I played with it for many years, usually to re-enact The People's Court with super heroes as litigants; I was a weird kid.
ReplyDeleteDid it come with the round table and chairs on the left, or is that something you added?
ReplyDeleteAlso, the invisible jet you added—is that a Kenner model?
The table didn’t come with the playset, it’s from a pocket heroes set. The jet is from Funko legion of collectors.
