A Brief History of McDonaldland and the Toys (and Lawsuit) It Spawned
In 1970-71, at the behest of the McDonald’s Corporation, the advertising agency Needham, Harper & Steers created a fantastic imaginary world they dubbed McDonaldland, and a cast of characters to populate it: Officer Big Mac, Grimace (a revision of a character who was once a four-armed villain), the Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese, the [Mad] Professor, Captain Crook and, of course, Ronald McDonald.
I have to admit that I dig Nia Jax... a lot! Right now she is hands down my favorite of all the current women wrestlers on the WWE roster. Currently she is being presented as a monster heel, but that just makes me cheer her on more and hope that one day she becomes the Womens Champion. Last night at the Royal Rumble she defeated Sasha Banks. While Sasha is great wrestler, her "legit boss" gimmick is getting a bit tiring.

The point is, this is just another example – albeit a most entertaining one – of the botched sale of a company. An operating, profitable company, the death of the owner, a ‘quick’ sale by the heir, then years of litigation. All of it was avoidable with proper planning.
AMC recently had a marathon of the critically acclaimed TV show Breaking Bad starring Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. I binge watched the whole thing as I never watched it when it first aired. While looking for more information about this series on the interwebs, I ran across this delightful gem!
