This is an article from last summer about the Trademark and Copyright fight between Transcience Corp. and Big Time Toys. Reading it may shed Some further light on what is really going on here.

I am hearing much grumbling from several distinct groups of Sea-Monkeys® fans on the Interwebs about recent ordering difficulties and product quality issues with Transcience direct orders. I haven't ordered from them lately, so I haven't experienced all of this, but I can certainly believe it. Slow shipping is and has been normal for a while. Each order is filled by hand and also hand delivered to the Bryans Road, Maryland post office for shipping. It can take all of 6 weeks or more for an order to arrive. I have experienced this myself. Here lately complaints have been made about newly ordered Sea-Monkeys® not hatching at all! This is pure speculation on my part, but I believe this to be because there is no new stock being produced and only old outdated stock is being sold.

Also, conspicuously, as of this posting the Official Sea-Monkeys® is not loading. Make of this what you will.
